Swaping alternate for main letter

Hi I just purchased and installed fontself a few days ago. I created a complete hand drawn font with 0-6 alternates per letter. My issue is that I want to take an alternate G character and make it the main G for the font, but I’m not sure how to do that without deleting the main G and all the alternates first. I’d like to not have to do that because I’ve modified each side margin and it just seems counter productive. What would be the best way to do this?

Thanks

Jeff

You can rename these characters with unused characters to rearrange them. Start with the alternate and once they are all changed, rename the one you want as the first G.

Ah ha! Simple, yet genious. Thanks for replying, Franz.

And is there any way to strecth a character vertically slightly once it’s been loaded into fontself?

All shape changes must be made in Illustrator and the new glyphs reimported.
