Fixed font size

I just read a post about default font sizing, and someone pointed out the glyph size. But I want/need a fixed font size if possible, kinda like the old bitmap style fonts. I’m actually making an ADA typestyle for braille (the tactile, not the dots), wanted to be able to give this to another designer and have it the correct size. I’ve gotten my kerning pretty good (the spacing for tactile is specific and regulated), but I just wanted a default font.

I think someone posted a couple of days ago about default sizing, is there a default that I can set? Or is it program dependent?

All fonts have various heights at the same point size, as there is no such thing as a default height. If you need to match your design to a specific height at a specific point size, there are several workarounds depending on your original AI and OTF files.
