Fontself color font

I load my color font into the fontself extension on Illustrator. Everything looks fine and in color. But once I save it into a file, it turns into a black font. Any help please.

where is your color font black? Not all program support color fonts. In AI it should be colored. If not, please post screenshots. thanks.

I was looking at the file itself in Windows. But after installing, and using it in illustrator, it looks fine. Thanks
