I have a serious question, it will be possible to see fontself for affinity designer … thinking that it is much more accessible in money than Illustrator and offers good features.
I am doing a project that I will soon share, many times I work from A.Designer, I only live in “illustrator” thanks to fontself

Hi Fontself, any news on plans to make Fontself available for Affinity? Only reason I still have Illustrator is to use Fontself, which makes it actually very expensive just to use Fontself. Like many designers, I want to get rid of the overpriced Adobe suite…so I’m getting at the point of choosing between ditching Adobe and Fontself or pay 300€/year to use Fontself. Guess would I (and many others) will choose eventually?

Adobe is STUPID expensive. It’s highway robbery.
Affinity does just about everything Illustrator does at a fraction of the cost. The only drawback seems to be add-ons like Fontself are only compatible with Illustrator.
Adobe is also being extremely unfriendly to customers. I’ve been using it since the mid 90s and canceled my sub when they started all the AI shenanigans. I’d love to have a plug-in for Affinity apps or even a stand-alone version of Fontself, otherwise, I’ll be forced to use an opensource alternative.
I understand that it would take some dev time, but if I were in charge at a company that makes add-ons for Adobe products, I’d be diversifying my platform to be less-dependent on a company that’s losing big clients every day because of their business practices.
