Hello, iam creating new font and i have a one problem. How do i center certain glyphs (for instance - equal sign “=”)? Is there any way to do it or everything needs to be done manually?

Maybe for once, I can answer instead of read the answers 
I would import (drag and drop) the glyph ALONGSIDE the baseline and Xheight guides. As long as you position your equal sign at equal distance between the two guides, then you should be fine.
The other signs should be positionned according to their position between those guides, so the guides will tell fontself how to position them in the font.
I’m also very new, so maybe someone will correct me.
