Importing Letters

Hi there,
I’m super green with Fontself and so far have really loved it. I’m currently updating a company font for work and I missed importing the lower case ‘w’ and somehow accidentally imported 2 q’s instead. I have deleted the extra q, however when I try to import the new ‘w’ it is now much larger than the rest of the font that was imported at the same size. I’ve checked the xHeight and the cap height and it matches the rest of the font. I did notice when trying to import or replace the ‘w’, I am no longer able to put it in the lower case set, instead it prompts me to add it to the “any character batch” which doesn’t appear to really matter?

I have version 3.5.13 installed

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, import new shapes requires that the source shape should be the same size as in the original Illustrator file to match.

As for dropping individual objects, the extension can’t recognize which character it is, unless the object has been specifically named: https://help.fontself.com/en/articles/889331-create-accents-symbols-punctuation
