I am just starting out with FS and am looking for a way to have alternate be automatically typed when having two of the same characters after each other. Like in ‘tool, better and sneeuw’.
Glyphs app does have this option: Features, part 3: advanced contextual alternates | Glyphs
But I did not found it yet in FS.
Contextual alternates are not yet part of the feature set. We will hopefully bring them & more in the future (will take a while though).
To bad. This is essential when making handwritten fonts.
Hopefully the developers will find the time to make it some day.
I’d very much like this. Does anyone have any way to define the contextual alternates after the font has been created in a different program maybe?
