I created a ligature for a lower case “e” with a swash followed by a period which only appears at the end of sentences.
It works fine in Illustrator and InDesign but does not show up in Word.
Does Word recognize ligatures or should I create 1 character and assign it to an unused glyph?
Did you try activating the Ligatures feature? https://help.fontself.com/en/articles/1199554-kerning-ligatures-alternates-issues
Otherwise it’s possible that ligatures featuring a space character may not be supported by some apps.
Thank you. I didn’t realize the the ligatures feature wasn’t on by default in Word.
