Mechaside is a typeface that works well for sci-fi themes, mecha/robots, technology, video games, etc. Made with geometric shapes and stenciled cuts in several places.
This typeface was originally made as a 3D decal for my own personal use. Because sci-fi is a niche category, I decided to compile it into a font in the hopes that it may be useful to some people. Examples of possible applications are e-sport or gaming related logos, posters, t-shirts designs, decals, stickers, etc.
The creating process begins with a sketch in Photoshop, followed by tracing into a vector in Illustrator, and last, importing it into Fontself.
