I am a new Fontself user, and after creating my first font I found there was one glyph (u) that
didn’t work. First I got a substitution but after changing settings on my computer I just get a zero.
I have tried deleting and switching out the character for a new one. No luck

I guess, that your ‘u’ has no or the wrong name in Illustrator. Just check it and generate with fontself maker your font again.
If you can’t find the problem, please put a screenshot in here.
