Questions about Kerning

Hi everyone! I’m new with Fontself and I’ve got a couple of questions regarding Kerning.

  1. Is there a way to use the same kerning pairs for international characters? (ex.: A / À / Á).
  2. I’m thinking of designing a typeface with two variables (sharp & rough), consist in the same exact glyphs but with texture. Again, is it possible to use all the same pairs for the second version?

Hi @Wardak!

So right now there is no solution for both except copying the values manually.

We’re actually thinking about supporting kerning classes see Your suggestion to improve the Kerning feature

And indeed copying the kerning from one version to another makes sense and would save a lot of time! We’ll keep it in mind :wink:
