Tabular figures

I’m trying to add some tabular numbers to a font (or a few of them) but I can’t find the right way to do it in Fontself. I’d like to stack some numbers and I need them to have the same width, and using alternates and switching them number by number is not useful at all.

Is there any way to accomplish it?

Hi franvelasco.

Since Fontself only knows .liga and .alt, you won’t get anywhere with Fontself alone. You must be able to assign .pnum, .onum, .tnum or .lnum to the numbers.

This is possible either with a “big” font editing programme like FontForge or with IndyFont (https://www.indiscripts.com/category/projects/IndyFont).

Thank you, Jens. I guess I’ll have to stick with Glyphs for this task!
