Just bought fontself and installed it, but I’ve been getting an error for bitmap fonts titled ‘This glyph seems to be empty’? This is when I drag and drop, or even import them through the interface’s buttons.
The error window tell me to ‘Please delete it and then recreate it from a valid layer’, but I have no idea what makes my layers invalid? Because each one follows the guidelines within the Welcome Gazette, as far as I know.
Hi, there are various reasons why this could happen. The best ways to solve this:
Update Photoshop to the most recent version to avoid any legacy bug
Try to import a single layer before selecting many at once
If you get a warning of unsupported types of layers, convert them into plain image/vector layers
And check that your layers are not inadvertently linked as clipping masks (in this case, just press Alt + click between two layers to break this link):
