Hi guys, just installed the software and looks great. I love being able to use Illustrator to do the design work without having to jump into a whole other piece of software to do the job. My only wish is that it could convert to TTF format. I’m not able to get FontSquirel or any other online converter to make a TTF font that is recognized by windows as a real true type font. I need TTF fonts because they are for use in SolidWorks-- one of the main CAD systems out there, that doesn’t support OTF fonts. The online converted fonts have the .TTF filetype, but SolidWorks ignores them as if they were OTF fonts.

I found that opening the OpenType font in FontForge, I was able to generate a real TTF font which I could then open in SolidWorks. A little workaround but it does work well.
