Use Templates as a base

I use templates images as a base for all my fonts. This is just like a building block or a foundation to create extremely accurate fonts.

The base image is one that I created using the base font template from Calligrphr.

Using this base template you can more accurately create your fonts.

Thanks! I was wondering myself if starting in this way would help! I appreciate seeing this! Now I know I will be able to start with a template in procreate and then my letters will be uniform!

I have since updated my Templates with anchor points to use in Adobe Illustrator. If you like I can post them here.

Here is the main font template. It can only be used with Adobe Illustrator though. It can be modified. I am working on one for Photoshop. MasterFile.fw.zip (367.8 KB)

If you don’t have Adobe Illustrator let me know and I will create a PNG version that can be used

Thanks so much!! I have illustrator and photoshop and plan to work in procreate also!! I really appreciate these templates!
