I made a few ligatures for my fonts.
Usually InDesign can replace “ff” to “ff” or “fi” to “fi” automatically.
The corresponding funktion is set to “ON”.
But it doesn’t work - only with my font.
Is there any help in sight?

So yes like you said some apps can detect and replace ligatures automatically,
We want to do that in a near future, but right now ligatures are not yet supported in the extension.
For now the workaround is to create the ligatures character as another character like a PUA, and use it manually from the Glyphs’ list panel. This is not the best workflow though but could help temporarily.
Are they working now (February 2018) or not yet?
