Exported fonts are above the baseline ! Help!
I have created my first font using fontself, used guide to render all the letters. Still the exported fonts shows shift in baseline.

Ok, so it turns out that Illustrator’s text baseline is automatically defined by the height of the lowercase character “d” - by default… (see https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/creating-text.html#manage_the_text_area )

To change this just select your text block and got to the menu Type > Area Type Options and pick Cap Height or a Fixed value in the First Baseline dropdown:
