Here are my second »Fontself Helper« Javascript to rename Letter to Unicode and verse vice. »A« becomes U+0041, »B« becomes U+0042 and so on in the window »Layers«. The scripts work for all letters whose Unicode consists of 4 characters. This covers all European, Latin special characters. This is very helpful, because many small special characters such as
̈ ¯ ́ ˘ ̧ ̒ ̋ ̏ ̀ ̌ ̦ ̊ · ̨ ̣ ˙ ̷ ̃ ˆ
are difficult to read and distinguish. Unicode (shown in green in the following image) makes it much easier. In addition, the Fontself Maker extension can also read the Unicode as a name for a glyph.
